Timpanilicious

Jay threw his infamous timpano party over last weekend, and the drum, as per usual, was to die for, and the vino, also as per usual, flowed. I even have photo evidence:

What is this main dish? It looks like a lot of work, but like a celebration on a plate. Besides Tom & Linda, who are the others at the dinner table? I love the bouquets on the table. I love you, aj

Hi Amy! That main dish-the one spilling over on the cutting board-is the Timpano (Italian for drum)...a crust full of pasta, meats, red sauce, cheese...and so large that Jay bakes it in an enameled antique wash basin! The other guests are mom & dad, Emily & Greg (Jay's brother) and their girls Hope & Ellie, and our neighbors Don & Joni (who brought the gorgeous yellow marsh marigolds found in a roadside swamp!).
